Cheryl, being the face behind the Jerusalem Blueprint's updates, is the person to know if you're looking for something exciting to do in the holy city. Born and bred in Brooklyn but now considered a Yerushalmit, Cheryl has an MA in music therapy and a BA in music and can be found anywhere there are instruments and singers. She can't stop singing and has performed everywhere from Lincoln Center to Ben Yehuda. She also founded the up and coming Yerushalmi a cappella group KOLture Shock, a choir that stands for integration, acceptance, and love despite one's background and shows it due to its varied members who are male and female, observant and not practicing Jews, Israeli and immigrants, younger and older. Somewhere between her numerous jobs (striving musicians must make a living somehow!) Cheryl finds the time to hang out with friends, speak with her family in NY, and make killer BBQs.
