The 4th annual Beer Festival will be transforming the Old Train Station into one huge bar, showcasing over 50 Israeli and international beer labels, so we can compare sabra flavors to their imported competition. The Israeli providers will be offering beers beyond the mainstream labels like Goldstar and Maccabee (thank goodness) by featuring microbrewery and boutique beers. And, to entice less serious and more daring drinkers, this year’s festival promises to give people a taste of beers flavored with honey, coffee, and various herbs.
For your entertainment, there will be live music performances, street artists, and hey, with over 520 people RSVPed on Facebook so far, lots of awesome drunk-as-a-skunk people watching.
L’chaim!
The beer festival will be on August 27 & 28, 2008 at the Old Train Station on Derech Hebron. Entrance starts at 6pm with free entrance until 7pm. After that, entrance is 15 NIS. You must be 18 or older to enter.
